Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday, which is usually considered the important holiday of Christianity, is generally celebrated from March 22nd to April 25th. On this day, people perform several rituals in the cathedral to empty old and wrong stuff of us, including sins, selfishness, lies, and glorifying the fullness of eternity and blessings of truth and grace.
In the year 2020, on April 12th, at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, one of the most significant events have been conducted on this occasion. Readings from the Holy Gospel by the fathers and pope of the cathedral included the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the end of Lent, and the last day of the Holy Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday). There were also readings from the letter of St. Paul Gospel.
In addition, prayers were performed to seek blessing from God for surviving the severe pandemic. In different countries worldwide, through virtual meetings and limited gatherings, people celebrated Easter Sunday. Healing of hearts of the people for the losses in the various homes around the world due to the pandemic was one of the main topics of the prayers throughout the entire event.
