There was a state of meditation on the evening of September 21, 2019, in New York City. The Buddhist Council of NYC presented a free event of meditation and dharma teachings from different traditions. Interfaith Center of USA was a respective partner of theirs. The event was arranged in the beautiful environment of the Gantry Plaza State Park at Center Boulevard & 49th Avenue LIC in New York. The Pearl Harbour Memorial is where 1,102 sailors and marines are resting in peace who sacrificed their lives during World War 2 and the attack on Pearl Harbour on December 7, 1941. The memorial was built in 1962. Like always, the Interfaith Centre of USA organized an event on December 7, 2020, along with the Hawaii Peace and Reconciliation Foundation of New York to pay tribute to the respected martyrs and John Lennon, a former Beatles member. January 20, 2020, Interfaith center of USA celebrated Martin Luther King Jr Day with the “Martin Luthar king- Historic Push For Equality” banner.  Many people of Englewood joined for their non-violent leader. From five local synagogues, rabbis and congregants also came with American and Israeli flags early in the morning. It indicated a good relationship between Englewood neighbors.  Rev.
