In 1981, the UN General Assembly established a war-free world. As a result, the UN decided to recognize the first UN General Assembly session in September as International Day Of Peace. Subsequently, on September 6th, 2001, the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 55/262, deciding to observe September 21st as International Day of Peace every year since 2002.
The International day of peace is commonly known as International Peace Day because UN peacekeeping solicitors are the most influential persons to respond to difficult global peace and security challenges.
in 1982 The theme of this day was – “The Right to peace or people.” The 2021 theme for the international day of peace is “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.” Today’s most notorious enemy is the tireless coronavirus. The purpose of the program is to make everyone realize that Covid-19 is the actual enemy of humanity. So, people worldwide should stop fighting against each other and stop the turmoil. In this intolerant era, we produced weapons to kill other people. That’s why raffish politics and political War destroyed Rohingya, Kashmir, Yemen, Palestine, and Syria.
The day was celebrated worldwide to eradicate incidents like War, violence, and firearms from the earth. The Interfaith Center of USA arranges this meeting with almost all religious persons. The primary purpose of this day was to spread love and happiness all over the world. Can we raise our hand with peace and hate, intolerance and violence? Hopefully, happiness comes into our world.
